Challenge:
2014 marked KFC Thailand's 30th anniversary. KFC, therefore, wanted to take this opportunity to celebrate its current success. We wanted to make a global brand like KFC feel more personal and loved by Thais.
Idea:
We resurrected Colonel Sanders as the brand ambassador that Thais will love. The Colonel achieved this through a better understanding of being Thai and by living a more authentic Thai way of life. He learned to speak better Thai, cook better Thai food, changed his uniform into the Thai national custom. Through his experience, he finally learned what made Thais happier.
Results:
- Likes increased by 1.6 millions on KFC Thailand fan page.
- Number of reaches exceeded 5,000,000
it was a KFC campaign that so Thai, but the way it won over Thai hearts was just so good!
